About Me
Cinematographer, storyteller, and global observer behind the camera for over 40 years. As a Canadian Society of Cinematographers Director of Photography, I’ve filmed more than 200 documentary and fiction projects around the world for the National Film Board of Canada and many independent producers. I spent years collaborating with legendary Canadian filmmaker Donald Brittain, and my work has appeared on CBC, BBC, PBS, and ABC.
Professional Skills
Across four decades, I’ve photographed two Academy Award–nominated documentaries and helped shape the next generation of filmmakers as a founding faculty member of the Florida State University Film School, now ranked among the top film programs in the United States.
Down Time
With a lifetime love of flight and airplanes, I spent twenty years, flying around the Southeast US, the Bahamas and southern Ontario.
